How Barley creates and maintains nightlife guidance.
Barley publishes practical nightlife decision frameworks and first-party product information. This policy explains what the guides cover, which facts can change, and how to request a correction.
Scope and sourcing
Website guides combine first-party knowledge of the Barley product with stable, high-level nightlife planning context. The app may display curated venue information and third-party venue data where available. The website does not present a permanent “best bars” ranking or guarantee that every listing is available in every market.
Updates and freshness
Guides are reviewed when Barley’s product, supported coverage, or the planning context materially changes. Each guide displays its latest review date. Time-sensitive facts are deliberately qualified because nightlife operations can change by day, season, event, and venue policy.
Corrections
To report an inaccurate statement, outdated link, or product detail, email hello@barley.app with the page URL and the correction. Material corrections are incorporated into the source used to regenerate both the HTML guide and its Markdown version.
Commercial disclosure
BarleyNightlife.com is the official website for the Barley app and is published by Outlier Estates LLC. Calls to action link to Barley’s official Apple App Store listing. The site promotes its own product; its city and venue-type guides are not paid rankings of individual nightlife venues.
Machine-readable access
Barley publishes canonical JSON-LD, a standalone app entity file, a sitemap, robots directives, and Markdown versions of its core guides. See llms.txt for the concise AI-readable index and barley-app.json for official app identifiers.
